Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Forest, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Gorilla trekking in Uganda is done in two national parks Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, this put Uganda as number one gorilla tracking destination in the word, Bwindi Forest alone accommodates more than half of the world mountain gorillas, over 500 mountain gorillas are found in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with 16 habituated gorilla families and open to tourism, only 8 people are allowed to track one gorilla family per day, this mean they are only 120 gorilla tracking permits available in Uganda for both in Bwindi Forest and Mghinga every day, being that gorilla permits are limited to number per day this means booking your trekking permit in advance is to your advantage not to miss out on this life experience of gorilla tracking activity in Uganda’s impenetrable forests. Mgahinga National Park has only one habituated gorilla family open to tourism so it means only 8 people are allowed to see gorillas in Mghinga while Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park has 15 habituated gorilla families meaning that 112 people are allowed to track gorillas in Bwindi Forest per day so choosing Bwindi is the best option
