Fly Rwanda Air Track Gorillas Uganda Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, at the moment the easiest way to access Uganda’s bwindi forest is through Rwanda because of the driving time from Entebbe international airport to Bwindi, it takes approximately 8 to 9hours drive from Kampala or Entebbe to get to Bwindi while if you fly direct to Kigali Rwanda it takes you only 3hours drive to get to bwindi including border crossing into Uganda, Rwanda is more advanced than Uganda currently Rwanda has an airline called Rwandair that has more direct flight connecting to major tourists destination in the world like United Kingdom (London). You only have to use Easter African visa allowing you a double entry to all Easter African Community Countries.
One of the main reason why flying into Kigali Rwanda and go gorilla tracking in Uganda is that Uganda gorilla permit are more affordable than in Rwanda. Rwanda gorilla permit was increased few month ago from $750 to $1500 per track as Uganda say that they are not increasing its gorilla permit prices from $600 per track, also Ugandan accommodation around Bwindi Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is relative cheaper as compared to Rwanda accommodation around Volcanoes National Park, a part from the differences in gorilla permit prices, Uganda remains as the best gorilla trekking destination because gorillas can be trekked in two different national parks Bwindi and Mgahinga wile Rwanda has only one park Virunga where you can see gorillas.
Also Uganda apart from having affordable gorilla trekking permits, Uganda owns 70per cent of the total world’s population of Mountain gorillas found in both Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, it is also on record Uganda is the only Country with two national parks with mountain gorillas, currently in the whole world only 900 mountain gorillas left in the wild and majority can only be tracked in Uganda and currently mountain gorillas are the main attraction in Uganda.
