Counting Mountain Gorilla Census 2018 Rwanda Uganda Congo, mountain gorilla census is to estimate the current total number of mountain gorillas living in the Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda, Virunga National Park in DR-Congo, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park both are located in Uganda.

Gorilla census in Rwanda, Uganda and DR-Congo, according to gorilla census experts, this is going to help analysis to provide accurate estimates of mountain gorillas of Uganda, Rwanda and DR-Congo, 2018 mountain gorilla census is done by experts from three countries Rwanda, Uganda and DR-Congo, gorilla census will be an important aspect, because according to tourism records of 2017 shows that more than 15,112 tourists trekked mountain gorillas in Uganda and also according to information coming Ugandan Government tourism industry contributes 10% of Uganda GDP.

Many thanks to (IGCP) International Gorilla Conservation Programme who is funding this exercise of mountain gorilla census 2018, conducting population census for mountain gorillas’ very importance in conservation of Uganda, Rwanda and DR-Congo and for all tourism lovers all over the world, we all know how Mountain gorillas are the most critically endangered primate species in the world.Mountain Gorilla Census Uganda 2018

Increasing of Mountain Gorilla Population?

The records of last mountain gorilla census shows that there was 880 individual mountain gorillas in the world  and its only found in Uganda, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with all the babies which were born between 2010 to date it may increase mountain gorilla number by 10% to 20% because we new young ones were born in Volcano National park in Rwanda, Virunga National Park in DR-Congo and in both Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park , this  exercise of  mountain gorilla  census is conducted  successfully with efforts from  authorities of all different protected areas of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, normally gorilla census is carried every after five years depending on funds to help in this gorilla counting activity (census).

Mountain gorilla population increase is ideally the most significant good news for Uganda, Rwanda and Congo tourism industry, gorilla census will also help in planning for gorilla protection and conservation.
