DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrival
Your guide/driver will pick you up on arrival in Kigali by our guide, ready to take you to Kigali city tour which will take you to the Gisozi genocide memorial site, visit Kimironko local market for fruits and crafts. After lunch transfer to Gesinyi – on Lake Kivu, after cross the border to Congo. Dinner and overnight in Goma Town at Linda Hotel
Day 2
Hiking Mount Nyiragongo Volcano the Active Lava Lake
Today you will wake up very early for a quick cup of coffee and your guide/driver will transfer you to the Nyiragongo starting point is situated. Begin your hike toward the Nyiragongo summit after a briefing from the park ranger/guide staff. Hiking to the Nyiragongo summit usually lasts 4 – 5 hours depending on the general group fitness. When hiking, you don’t leave anyone behind Dinner and overnight at the top of lave Lake Mount Nyiragongo
Day 3
Descend the Volcano and transfer you back to Rwanda
In the morning you will begin the descend of the volcano, where your guide will drive you back to Goma by midday. After you will then cross over back to Rwanda and transfer to Kigali for your departure flight.
